Far Too Loud is back…with “Faster Than Light”. Explains the man himself, “The EP/track name "Faster Than Light" has been in my head for ages, and that was the first track I wrote from the EP. I raved it up to Rat Pack headlining the fire-spitting Arcadia stage at Boomtown Festival last year, the night before I was to do the very same, and there's a bit of that experience in it. I was reading a fair bit of Iain M. Banks last year too so the sci-fi theme kind of underpins the whole EP for me. I asked my designer Carl to do a Battlestar Galactica Viper-style ship for the cover and once again he nailed exactly what I wanted. This is the music I'd want to hear if I was cruising at warp speed in my FTL ship."

I don't know what it is, but in DWTD's discography this record really stands out to me. Picking a favourite track is difficult because all of the songs sound incredible to me, but POISON is probably the most fresh and energetic song in my opinion. zWarhead
